J Mascis joined Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 today for a session and you can stream the whole interview and performance over at the BBC site for the next 3 weeks. (J starts in around the 2:08 mark).  He will be on the Boxed In show on Radio 4 Saturday.  He mentions that he will be returning to Late Night with Seth Meyers in the near future too!

J Mascis played an in-studio session from The Cutting Room Studios in NYC this morning which aired on KEXP.  He played 3 new tracks from ‘Tied To A Star‘, “Me Again”, “Every Morning” & “Stumble” before doing an acoutic/electric cover of Mazzy Star’s “Fade Into You”.  Here are the tunes from the session.

For those of you that pre-ordered J Mascis‘ “Tied To A Star” directly through SubPop have been able to stream the album for a while but now NPR, Exclaim and NME have stepped up to scratch the itch everyone else had to hear these new tracks.

For those in the US, you can stream the whole album at at NPR and those in the UK & Europe can stream the album at NME. For those of you in Canada, look to Exclaim for your fix!

Are you gonna wait for the physical release before listening or give in now?  I’m not gonna lie, heavy repeat is happening right now over here.
