That’s not to say that won’t buy it of course!
is it an acoustic album?
Yeah, it’s J’s first solo performance. Just him and his acoustic guitar.
there probably weren’t that many songs and shows to choose from for this release … ![]()

Rhinos streaming the remastered Where You Been…
Awesome!
Sounds pretty good, I can’t crank it here at work though. Its making me sad though. I remember when I first heard it. I was at a Sonic Youth show and it Get Me came on the pa before the show and I knew it sounded familiar but couldn’t tell what it was. I had only been into Dino for a few months and besides whatever’s cool with me this was the first album that came out while I was listening. I bought the start choppin single and get me and out there and was dying for the album. And when it came out and the concerts and everything else changed everything.I was 16 then. How time flies.
I’m listening to it at work right now with headphones (and its cranked up of course). It sounds great! J’s guitar tone on this album is my favorite of all his albums. It sounds super crisp and clean. Very well done. I hope the packaging has some extras too.
Oh and that version of Keeblin rules!
Yeah it sounds good, I have all those tracks on other things though. I know I will buy it eventually but not sure if right away.
Don’t know if this has been posted anywhere else yet, but AOL Music is hosting pre-release streams of Green Mind and Where You Been. You can find them here:
