Got mine today, hopefully you all have the same luck!

I definitely like it better than Martin + Me, though there aren’t as many songs. I think this recording seems cleaner and J’s voice sounds really good. The between song banter is cool too.

There’s actually a couple of instances where I can understand lyrics I’ve never been able to before. Can’t remember which ones right now but it’s pretty cool.

Also, does anyone else wonder why they never made "Throw Down" longer? Such a great :45 song but it could have been a brilliant full-length pop song.

I bought Green Mind, Where You Been, and CBGB’s at Newbury Comics in Amherst, MA on it’s release date. Since I subscribe to the email newsletter, I received a coupon for 2$ off all Dinosaur Jr. cd’s… The price of the cd’s were $9.99 for Where You Been and Green Mind, and (I think) $8.99 for CBGB’s… so with 2$ off of each CD, I got a pretty good deal I think…

Still waiting for mine. If they are not in the mail when I get home from work I will be releasing the hounds on Plan9.

I picked up Where You Been today and I’m through "Not The Same." I’ve got to say that while the sound quality is maybe a little better than the original, if you already have a good copy of Where You Been and aren’t dying for the B-sides, it’s probably not worth it. My copy was crappy anyway, so I needed a new one and I am enjoying the louder versions of the songs but I’m still in the "why did they remaster Where You Been" boat.

The reissues lead me to believe that they are planning to play these songs live with Lou eventually. It markets some more material for the tour after their current tour. Lou might actually be learning some of these on the tour bus of the present tour. Instead of the same set list; there would be songs from 6 albums: the first 3, the new upcoming record, and the 2 Rhino Reissues. This might mean longer shows, hopefully.

now that would be nice, especially the longer show part!

I’m so glad they are putting out the Dinosaur Jr albums in this fashion. Has there been any word on a live record. Those three rip it live! I would love to get some high quality official live releases. Any details?

It was great to hear the CB’s show. I was 16 when I went to that show. On one of the old bootlegs they had a picture of that show and you can see my friend on the side of the stage. I really liked how young J sounded and his comments. You could tell he was nervous. He was rushing through songs and mixing up lyrics but its true I could understand some lyrics I never could before. I love every mother’s son and on the run too. I used to scream them out all the time. Actually got J to play every mother’s son at a Dino show once in between songs. He was so much more comfortable playing accoustic by Martin and Me. And the brownies accoustic show where I think I wrote along time ago we were all trippin because he was playing little fury things fast but singing slow and it was all warped. He kinda did that on the end of Not you again at this show. I don’t know how he does that but I guess its being a drummer. Its cool too cause I think I can hear my self screaming on the cd.
