Some dude at work gave me a tape from MTV’s "Icon" that had ads througout for the restarting of the Ball. It has been on for a few weeks. I have no cable so you probably need to check your guide to find the times.
plastics never go away, they reform or trap a naive baby seal, or hold a six pack together,… or both.
It’s been a bit so let me clear my throat
That’s better.
Led Zep- Physical Graffiti and House of the Holy (ass rock fetish)
Nick Cave – Nocturama (Powerful and precise. I agree with the press release that it contains many of the other albums’ best qualities.)
R.L. Burnside – Mississippi Hill Country Blues (Raw, Hooker-like, but more harmonius. Excellent!!!)
Luther Allison – Blue Streak (Chicago-style slick bar blues.
Very produced, but Luther played the hell out of a guitar. RIP)Neil Young – Live Rust (Wanted to get Arc-Weld again, but too much $$$. This is a good cheaper substitute.)
Mazzy Star – She Hangs Brightly (More bluesy than So Tonight that I Might See . Hope in her strongest voice.)
The Essential Willie Nelson s/t (Every damn Willie song I never heard seems to be on here. This was released to commemorate his recent {April} 70th birthday. I hope he is around for a while longer. What a talent.)
The Distillers s/t (Still not done with it yet, but so far Brody Armstrong can really holler! 1/2 this band is now with Exene in Original Sinners. I can see why. They can flat out play.)
Where’s Curtis Enis when you need him most?
Thanks for the interview. Allison. I am always amazed at how frustrated jounalists become with J when he doesn’t do what they want or hold discussion in an accustomed manner for someone in his position. What’s worse is that the journalists, in frustration, begin projecting this or that onto J, musing to fill in the dead space. JAFO.
Here’s a birthday beatbown going out to you from the land of corn and pride…..
:slap:okedoke, thanks again
http://www.emptybottle.com shows a Cobra Verde show on May 9. This was not on the Muscletone list. Is J going to be at this one? Thanks.
Tom
Strange, I was just talking to another member on AIM a few days ago about DFK. I had no idea it has been a year. Had a blast of EBC earlier. She was one of the good ones.

Perhaps a walk through town sans fabirc will be in order! Happy B-day.
Holy shit, that schedule is LOADED. And , of course, Home Opener against Farve on MNF… geez
I am really gaga right now about FsF;s title track. The soloing procession on that track is exhalted enough to lift anyone out of their chair.
Why not "The Post" as well?
yeah rd, I had no idea about the ST confusion. I will try to keep that in mind, conversationally, for the future. I was talking about the 1st full length, as I had heard it was only out on vinyl or cassette, but you and Rosa cleared this up for me. Thank you
!!Excellent! Am looking forward to getting all the reish’s on CD. I am right in thinking the s/t first Dino has never been released on disc, right?
