Great season, Chi-town. Man, the Eagles really came packin today and they executed everything that was crucial. McNabb is great and it seems like the Bears have an Achilles with great quarterbacks.
Hope the Eagles play like that in the NFC championship game. I really took them for chumps…… Bears do need help with an offensive scheme. I disagree with the wr depth. I think we have one of the best receiving corps in the league from top to bottom. All the components are in place but QB and O coach.

Now, I must revert to my treasonous ways and align with Dude and the Packers. Favre has what it takes to beat this juggernaut. Ahman’s awareness and heart, along with his skill might be enough to offset the Rams’ pair. Rams D is getting notice but any D is suceptable to Favre when he impersonates General Sherman. Freeman still has the knack for beng open when it counts. I also like the GB D being healthier than when they beat the Bears.
I think both games tomorrow will be equally asskicking.

Hey Allison,

Looks like the Slayer O’Zombies job might be opening up if you ask J question # 1

1. Are sherpa hats as cool as ski caps?
2. Is Bob AKC registered?
3. Does Watt glue on his beard?

Eagles win big, Dungy to be looking for work, and The Bears sharpen the clippers.

Leave it to ol’ Curdlecuss to be the only one other than me to give Pennywise any props.

I first heard them I think in 94 when Unknown Road came out. That one was great. I fell of the track till about 98. my pub library, of all things, had Full Circle. Kind thought this one sucked, even though they kind of had a tribute to a deceased band member. Still, it was good enough to make me think Pennywise still did what they do better than most thrashpunk and light it up with lyrics that pick an issue and hone in on it, even if sometimes it becomes a bit blunt.

Later, I found Straight Ahead. To me, this album could have been the follow up to Unknown Road. It was tighter musically than any of the other ones I mentioned and the lyrics were blunt, yet expressive at the same time. Don’t know how to describe it, maybe an invective set to music.

Got Land of the Free? also. It has some good tunes as well. Has some weak points. I will not describe any of the specifics but it was worth the experiment. Ironically, it came out about a month or two before 9/11. The lyrics and subject matter were very scarily interpreted by many after the disaster. http://www.pennywisdom.com said that Pennywise not only pulled the single off the radio (forget which one) due to the complaints but also cancelled their tour for the time being. I do not know if they rescheduled or not.

One end note, Eminem’s posse and another rapper got into a fight on the Warped tour and got booted. Fletcher, the 6’5" psychotic alkoguitarist for Pennywise got in the middle and broke it up. He actually acted as peacemaker, with "motivation" of course. Pretty good for a guy who drinks fifths like some drink Evian and shoves hotdogs up his nose to check the fit.

Checkin’ my coy little axehandle at the door,
Tom

I think too many confuse introspection with depression. "not the same"

Wow! What a game. Singletary, Wilson, McMichael and Dent were all there and on WBBM radio, Dent came on the postgame show gave high praise. If that is not the cat’s pajama’s, I don’t know what is.

Big-time records got broken today. Anthony Thomas with single-season record for rookie RB yards on the Bears, Marty Booker gets 100 catches, and Roesy Colvin gets 10 1/2 sacks.

Nice to hear from you again Matty. Big thanks to Allison for keeping the hope going here.

Just believe,
Tom

Thank you very much, Jeremiah. As I saw the topic to this thread, I was thinking "RIAA, RIAA". It would certainly be no surprise to see teh RIAA stoop to creating a shell company to pull this off, if they did it. Hopefully, their latest round of losing battles with Congress over the Anti-Terrorism Bill would discourage this activity. However, it would seem to skirt the monetary damages part by forwarding the info to RIAA for litigation instead of property damage. Still seems like information theft.

One thing I have noticed and neglected to mention earlier is that Walt Harris has lost his nickname of "Toast". He doesn’t get burned nearly as often. Now he should be known as "Bread", wholesome and good for you!
