Does J start brushing his teeth around 4:16?
Have been happily playing this on loop all day. Very nice rendition.
Having watched these a few times now, I can honestly say that is the best live performance of Out There I’ve ever seen/heard.
Which I for one will be burning on to DVD
I find the tool ‘YTD’ (free version) useful for grabbing stuff from YouTube. It also has an option to subsequently convert the format – including splitting the audio off to an MP3 file.
Wow! They’re brilliant. Excellent photography; excellent sound – And a performance to match. If they’d managed more front-on shots of J’s guitar, that would be even better, but I’m nitpicking now…
S.Talking of Bristol, did anyone understand what the Spanish/Portuguese/Mexican guy was yelling out? He was really going for it and I’ve no idea if it was praise or abuse.
I didn’t make a note of the time, but last night (Bristol) felt closer to 90 mins than 55. It was slightly longer than the setlist would suggest due to Lou’s amp failure near the start of the set. Not a problem, of course, as Murph continued chugging away and J simply played a few minutes of extra solo.

Anyone know a way of playing this from the UK?
Thanks so much for this, empire2! It’s amazing how much more you hear; And I imagine the standard version will then sound better than ever, once your brain can fill in the bits that you know exist below the surface.
Just hoping someone manages to share the IBOS one now 🙂
My tickets for Bristol turned up yesterday from Crowdsurge.
I got this for Christmas. I’ve not spent much time with it yet, but I played through the Raisans rhythm parts are it sounded pretty reasonable.
If there’s no anecdotal evidence that the track exists, and anyone can be bothered enough, then perhaps someone should just edit it out of the Wikipedia page.
Of course, a much better outcome would be for someone to persuade J to write a track called Pinto Bean Extravaganza. It sounds like it would sit well alongside Hot Burrito #2. Tasty.
November 18, 2012 at 6:38 pm in reply to: Dinosaur Performed with Yo Gabba Gabba live in NYC #137013This had completely passed me by until I read about it in the Nick Attfield book today. Awesome. “Banana!”
$500 indeed…. Flashback to the mid 80s and Slimy Bob would have sold you a sunburst Jazzmaster for the same money.
That’s a better likeness of J than the bobblehead version.
