Everyone’s talking about that ad but I missed it. I was flipping over to the Jays/Sox game during commercials. Someone on another board posted his experience calling the number. Here’s what he said happend:

Cool, thanks for that. Sort of sucks that Lou’s not contributing anything. I’d feel a lot better about it if it sounded like J was letting him have a song or two. I’m still looking forward to it, though.
Great episode, really excited for next week. I’m concerned they just killed off the two people who are giving the show a bad name in real life though. Seems convenient to kill the two who got busted for public intox or whatever. I hope that’s not the case.
My theory is that Jack’s dad is in on the Dharma Group (not my theory, actually, someone else’s but makes sense) and that Michael is going after the baby to exchange him for Walt. Just my hunch though, I’m probably wrong.

After releasing three groundbreaking albums of modernist guitar raunch on indie labels during the late ‘80s, Dinosaur Jr. was signed in 1990 by the legendary Seymour Stein to Sire Records. Both albums are available May 16 through digital and regular retail outlets and at http://www.rhino.comEnter now to win autographed copies of Green Mind, Where You Been, and Live At CBGB’s (Limited Edition), a special acoustic album featuring a solo performance by J Mascis at New York’s famed CBGB’s in 1993, plus a poster signed by J. Quote:Hurley plans a surprise date for Libby.Doesn’t this seem like a funny thing to add? I mean, we have all of these intense things going on and then they mention Hurley trying to smooth Libby over. I find that funny for some reason but can’t wait to see what he does.
I think those continuing to improve could include Wilco (though I like Yankee the best so far and thought Ghost was a bit of a let-down) but generally speaking, I tend to like the album I owned first the best. Not always, but most of the time. I think for favorite bands, it’s the first album that grabs you so much you want to check out the other stuff. The other stuff, then, can’t live up to the expectations created when you first heard the band.
For me, I first owned Where You Been and it’s always been my favorite. I love the other stuff but to me, that’s Dinosaur’s best. Same with Radiohead, I got OK Computer first, it’s my favorite. I find this trend with a lot of bands I’m into.
I like Uncle Tupelo a lot. I’m a bigger Wilco fan but I don’t necessarily think of Wilco as being "better" just different. UT was more focused on blue collar, working class songs and I think Wilco and Son Volt have other focuses.
My favorite Uncle Tupelo song is New Madrid but I like most of what they did.

I’d just rather these three guys keep a unique sound. I don’t expect it to sound like the 80s stuff but I hope it does sound unique.
I think Jack White’s new band The Raconteurs have an album coming out. I’m looking forward to checking that out.

He does look like Randy Jackson! Dan was a very nice guy and he didn’t make Randy Jackson-esque comments to J like, "Yo, yo man. What’s happening my brother? That was a little pitchy."
I’d really like to know what Randy Jackson would say to J’s performance! I’m sure it would bring Paula to tears but not in the way vocal performances usually do…
I thought it was Randy Jackson from American Idol.
Oh, the crowd is hilarious! Someone is raising the roof and everyone looks like they have no idea what’s going on but the producers told them to act like they are at a rock show or something!
Yeah, I was between classes in college and flipping channels. I think I’d stopped there for a second and when it went to comercial break I was like "is that Dinosaur Jr?" I watched the rest of the episode and sure enough…
Thanks, I just canceled my Amazon order and went through this site instead. Saved $10!
