I hadn’t heard that song for probably five years until I went to a get together at this guys house on Saturday.
Funny, the guy looked like that image in most peoples head of what a "hillbilly" would look like: Long, grey beard down to his stomach, wears overalls, brews his own moonshine, grows his own um, "herb garden", and nothing but an old turntable, a rocking chair and a fly swatter on the screen porch .
So, here we are, eating burgers off the grill, drinking homemade muscadine wine, and listening to some Hank Williams when I get to looking at his albums and I see Cosmos Factory! After a few rolling eyes we put it on. Ramble Tamble kicks in and it wasn’t long before that old stereo was cranked up as loud at it would go! I dug it album out of my collection the next day…..Guided by Voices- Teenage FBI
I read somewhere there were not one, but TWO GBV boxed sets in the works. Anybody heard anything?….

Smith and Wesson .357 does the trick, nobodys gonna get up from a couple of those to the chest, I keep it in the nightstand.
Got my Mossberg within arms reach, too…..Dude, errr….Toni, stay in the south: The air is cleaner, the girls are prettier, and you don’t have to travel three hours to get a gallon of milk…..
