…Syriana, twice actually, the first time i thought i got the gist of it but knew i wasn’t following it completely, probally lack of sleep, but then i tackled it and it’s partial subtitles with ease and am pleased i took the time to fully enjoy it. Maybe it wasn’t the best movie out there but it is sort of important and deals wiht ideas the government certianly doesn’t want us to think about, maybe it could have been easier to foolw so kids could see how evil the world is run but in the end even knowing the the world is slowly being sucked dry of not just oil but hope doesn’t really get you anywhere, but knowledge is always a good time…
…yeah it’s over, for the Stillers at least but it sure felt like it weeks ago when baltimore stomped us for the first time, they are just better than us and that’s that, i quickly learned a lesson after the game, don’t shave angry/depressed, it almost ruined my christmas eve bar/party tour but at least i wan’t have to keep reviewing play-off senerios for the next week, sad it is but oh well, next year will be fun…

…one of my great regrets will forever be not seeing him live. My dad actually got to see him in college but after 45 consecutive minutes of "say it loud…" my dad and his friends walked out and as he puts it started buying Led Zeplin albums instead. I mean James Brown might not have been the nicest guy in certian areas but he brought it on stage and really changed music. No one will ever be as funky as him, that’s just the way it is and i’ll always listen to his stuff from time to time and throw his tracks on mixes. Cold Sweat is all you need sometimes and if you don’t dig that then you just don’t like quality…

…Stillers march into carolina and showed those superbowl hopefulls (pre-season that is) who has an ounce of hope left this year. Sadly we got it going a bit too late, i’d be happy with 9-7 at this point, meaning we get to win versus division foes baltimore and cinni the next two weeks, unless we get more help than an out of shape billionairre being carried to the top of everst by underpaid sherpas, we are not going to make the play-offs, but hey i came to grips with that weeks ago so all this maybe guessing hoping rooting for teams you hate, like yesterday i had to pull for the colts, it hurt, i turned my tv off and questioned my motives as a sports fan; but then you take a look at da Bears, clinching home field, crazy close game, Robbie Gould (penn state grad) makes the pro-bowl despite almost blowing it in ot, all’s well that ends well and the play-offs should be interesting even if all the freaksceners teams aren’t represented…
…this movie called Ball in the House. It was a re-hab readjustment detox kind of film and it was ok, but nobody likes a quiter. The movie was ok because it kept you guessing a bit and was sort of interesting, but nothing that special i guess…
…vinyl is preferred for me, but it is rare that i have the time to sit back and listen to my records, but those times are best, while walking around i rock out to my mix tapes on my walk-man and those times are too good not to mention, i spend lots of time falling asleep to music and records don’t work out well because you need to stop them or it is bad to fall asleep and let them spin all night (needles are hard to come by and pricey), so i have to give a shout out to cd’s my falling asleep choice, the other draw back of vinyl is the availibily of music, but that just makes it better when you find something you really love and the process of putting it on and watching it spin makes me smile, just the overall warmth is unmatched…
…Stillers crushed brownies thursday night, prime time is good for football, da Bears just proved that besting the rams in St. Louis. Rex looked good, Devin Hester looked fast as lightning, that return with the on-side hands team in was unfreakinbelievable, speed kills…
