…i just saw this last night, and it left me spinning mentally. It was one of those expirences when i said in my head if they roll the cedits now it will be too darn cool but you think they won’t but then they do, after a huge black screen duration that added to the suspense. That Jim Jarmasch is brave enough to end a movie like that with you to think and just be happy that a film made you do so…
…this crazy 80’s movie Fresh Horses, i had wanted to see this for years, as a kid i was inthralled by the previews and dug the title enough that i made up this fake song whose only lryics were "fresh horses, brewed to run" and i sung it all the time to the shagrin of my older sister, i was quite young and had no idea what the movie was even about but i knew i’d get a chance to see it someday and that day was yesterday and it was funny being a darkish romance involving a doomed relationship which seemed quite revevant to me and actually helped i think being the paralles i could draw but man 80’s moives are fun(ny) and this one wasn’t really cheesy but sort of cool so if you dig dark love stories wihtout garenteed cheesy story book endings you might dig these horses…

take another year.…a bunch of movies, the Madness of King George was ok, fun but not that funny i guess, oh Mermaids was great but i’m such a Winona Ryder fan i can’t imagine a bad movie with her in it, oh i watched the Davis cup final and it was cool to see Marat Safin all happy, he’s one of my favorite’s but his career has been all over and it seemed like a big deal for him and Russia, not that i have a rooting intersest either way, Argentina seems like a nice counrty as well but i just like swashbuckling type athletes that seem to have as much fun off the court as on and that is what i see in Marat; nba in full swing but i haven’t caught many games, sixers look to be in trouble but it’s early…
…Stillers toast after crushing defeat by ravens last week, can’t recall a game so one-sided, they just handed it to us and never let up, it was hard to watch, i kept thinking it’s early but then nothing ever got going, glad to see us come out tough this week beating down the hapless bucs, but 9-7 is the best case now and that doesn’t cut in the afc…
…Bears looked great, sans Grossman, but the division is locked up and home field ain’t far away, cowboys look like biggest test in nfc but that is far away. I used to be a Rex supporter but man he looks scared lately and that isn’t good, i think he is so short that he is never comfortable except throwing it deep (well over the line less chance to be tipped) so whenever there is a deep route he ends up forcing it, but Brian Griese has had many opportunites elsewhere and he always ends up being horrid so who knows but the rest of the team is so freakin’ tough it is sad that one position might be the undueing…
Stillers thursday night for the lucky nfl network viewers, hope they still have fire as the season seems to have slipped away…
