record player fixed, or should i say fully assembled, darn slacker half skimming instructions gets you know where. Comedy, i let that darn turntable sit in a box for a month before i got it spinning, first trip to the local vinyl shops today…

Dinosaur Jr. – Just Like Heaven (10 inch single) even though i own fossils on cd i couldn’t resist, favorite track ever, maybe, at least the most listened to one in my daze, even though it’s a cover it’s still J in top form and a ripping solo that sounds even more intense on vinyl

Jimmy Smith and Wes Montgomery – the Dynamic Duo
        Weather Report – Heavy Weather
James Brown – Time to get Busy
the Sequence – Funky Sound (Tear the roof off) – couldn’t resist the Sugar Hill label
Eminem – Diss Tracks – unmarked white lable imported from england, scetchcist purchase, but i phoned my roommate from the store and he told me if i left it there he would kill me, and i believed him so i purchased it and it is fun, being a collection of very curretn diss tracks from the last two underground DJ Green Lantern shady records mix tapes.
D-12 – Purple Pills/That’s how… 12 inch single with dirty clean intstrumental and accapalla versions, should come in handy down the road, as most of these purchases, scratching as otherwise and background nosish
DJ KaySlay – the Streetsweeper (vol. 1) – couldn’t pass up the 5 dollars for two records. A comp with names galore in hip hop heroics. KAy Slay is well respected by artists so he gets shite before it hits the streets, this must have been a promo copy becasue it is mint and fun, bought it really to check out a new MC from philly called Cassidy, he is getting mixed buzz here and i wanted to know if he was alright, being that he is on a track wiht like seven other guys it’s hard to tell who he is yet but i’m happy with my purchases and can’t wait to put work together.

i always liked Modern English, that "I’ll stop the world and melt with you" track knocked my socks off. I was wated at a tiny club/bar, spring break 98 and they were playing there, Hilton Head South Carolina, i was 20 but the bouncer at the door gave me a drinking braclet due to his poor math skills, 18 to get in clubs in SC but 21 to drink, it was maddness, i was there with my college tennis team and one of the only drunk kid as we were quite young, but they gave a good show, not great till the finally, their one hit and then they left and the dj came back on, but this kid wasn’t fullfilled, i hopped on stage and found the mike to be still on, so i began pleededing for the dj to stop spinning and got the crowd to scream for more till The band came out and played their hit again for us, which they did, even dedicating it to the really drunk kid in the first row, i love being the really drunk kid in the first row.

            need some cause i’m dumb
            numb, but know worries
            forcast few flurries
            easy 2 rhyme
            hard to mean
            steam blows out the chimney
            me, i’m skinny
            co in so dance
            what’s the chance?
new freak from the three one three
            same time as lungs be
            silence will rain
            until truth gain

            the cup you filled
            the dream you killed
            but that’s ok
            you’re stephe
wish i was as cool, but not to be
good thing you never came at me
            i’m just a ghost
            may be last post
            doubt you’ll pout
            scream or shout

            great story
            never bore me
            still not convinced
            but soon to wince
            if giving in
            means u win
            we all lose
            who choose

yeah, Ty Law took Mavin Harrison out of the game like he was a fan running on to the field for attention. Peyton didn’t know what to do without his security blanket goto guy all locked up. Comedy, but Tom Brady is just as bad. He got luck with that fumble overturn, it was the right call but you got to be more careful with the ball in that situation. Penn Stater David Macklin almost came up with the big play. Pats look good, but if Teddy Bruschiie, or however you spell it, is seriously hurt then their defense will be greatly weakened in the super bowl.

where’d you get an outsidaz track? Good stuff. I thought Obie Trice was going to suck. I hated that track "drips" he had on "the Eminem Show", but his solo album was tight. The beats are killer and his style is iller. Solid mix, as usual…
