Been digging through some of my fathers old vinyl the last days. These are the ones that are enjoying themselves the most at my turntable(the ones I have "stolen" from my dad).

Waterloo Sunset -The Kinks
Revolver -The Beatles
Anyway That You Want Me -The Troggs
Electric Ladyland -Jimi Hendrix
Willie And The Poor Boys -CCR

Look at all the ministers,
they’re so sinister.
When they’re starting to float.
On the pond near the lake,
of the origami snake.
It is kept there by the meek,
with their plastic deductable knives.
I met the tax-man, he was searching
for the sister of his rubber wife.
They may ask them what
the counsil saw.
And the answer will never be me,
cuz I’m not grown
in such a sircular high-pitched tone.

Well, let us swing down the stream
of this low key diagnosed dream.
On the pants of the mayor
who constantly rants
of his mistress illiterate son.
And let us watch as the three
are eaten by one
gigantic inflatable sun.

So here I am, this is what I see,
but the reflection in the jewellers window
couldn’t be me.
No I wouldn’t think it was me.

The epeleptic ranger,
he was told the truth.
By a stranger wearing
aliminium shorts.
Isn’t he the guy on TV
who imitates the kings wife left vort?
Well, who could have known
the lightbulbs wouldn’t last.
I never thought pastry
could melt that fast.
So now I’m stuck here with these limes.
And the reporter said congress,
they won’t face up to their fines.
And as the vicker searches for
embedded shells.
The curtains of waxed lead
are being draped
around the burning marmelade shed.

So draw that fetus from it’s pocket
and plug it into the socket.
Of your motherly vein.
The oysters are selling out
their condos to live,
well they’re living in the pouring rain.

Do you still think this is me,
are these things what I see?
No, the reflections in the jewellers window
couldn’t be me.

The honest politician
is limping down honesty lane.
Throwing embargos at the people
who labelled him insane.
Though I’m one of them,
they are not me.
I guess that’s not for all of you to see.
The reflections could never be me.

Well said kurticus!

My favourite covers would have to be all of the Motorpsycho covers. Kim Hiortøy’s artwork is excellent! Some pics to show you all what I’m talking about:

Timothys Monster
front http://motorpsycho.fix.no/images/tim1.gif
back http://motorpsycho.fix.no/images/tim2.gif

Mountain EP http://motorpsycho.fix.no/images/mount.jpg

The Nerve Tattoo http://motorpsycho.fix.no/images/nerve.jpg

Blissard http://motorpsycho.fix.no/images/bliss.jpg

Sinful Windborne http://motorpsycho.fix.no/thisis/pictures/knoot/sinfulcovera.jpg

And there’s plenty more at http://motorpsycho.fix.no/thisis/pictures/

Pavements Slanted and Enchanted is also great.

Father To A Sister Of Thought
Rotten device
I’ll say it twice
I’m too much comforted here
’cause too much will leave you
everywhere eyes
no where to die
no place to shove your sharpened heel
I’m looking for a
tired place in case you wanted to go
I know I’m leaning in to the end
calling the bluffs
talking so tough
good-bye to the ugly steeple fear
good times forever after
I’m just a man see who I am
I bind with my hooks and open the books
dirty black cars
angel of corpus christi
you’re so mystic tell me what I want to hear
I know I’m leaning in – to the end….
I know I’ll never go….

The PM deal are kinda dodgy in my case, sometimes I can access it, but not on a regular basis… I’ll do some changes on my profile so that I’ll get the PM’s at my freakscene account.
Still having trouble with the chatroom deal, but I’ll definetely try logging on as a guest. Hopefully that’ll work. Some of the computer people here are working on some sort of scheme to try to get the firewall down or something. I’m not really that computer wise, so I’m afraid I can’t explain better, but I’m hoping they’ll figure something out so I can join the chatroom pretty soon.

Even more Therapy?

Gimme something to breathe
Give me a reason to live
Close your eyes and see
What you had inside
I think I’ve gone insane
I can’t remember my own name
I think I’ve gone insane

You’re a tin god
Take a look at the gaps in your palms
Gimme those nails
Bang them in, bang them in!

Idiots authority
Promising equality
So where is the land of the free?
Stop it you’re killing me

You get drunk every night
You can’t get drunk on life
Shouting at the world you’ll never change
But it’s what’s inside you’ve got to rearrange

Mother, I tried to believe me
I’m doing the best things that I can
I’m ashamed of the things that I’ve been put through
I’m ashamed of the person who I am
But if you could just see the beauty
These things I could never describe
Pleasurable ways of distraction
This is my wanting cry
Isolation, isolation

Beck
In the afternoon, riding the scapegoat.
Burning equipment, decomposing.
Kick off your sweats and cool off your jet.
I got a funny feeling,
they got plastic in the afterlife.
When they want you to cry,
leap into the sky.
When they suck your mind,
like a pigeon you fly.
I know, I know,
it’s the positive people running from their time.

Your brains went black,
when she took back her love
and put it out into the sun.
The birds did fly
and the heavens all went dry
and the cigarettes was smoking
by themselves.
She’ll do anything, she’ll do anything
to make you feel like an asshole.

I ordered these babies from hotstuff yesterday
Just Like Heaven 10" -blue vinyl
Bulbs Of Passion 7"
More Light 180 g vinyl
Hand It Over vinyl

Almost went berzerk, but controlled my self in the last minute and decided to wait a few weeks before bying more Hellacopters and other stuff.

I’ve been staring at the site’s listing of Hellacopters vinyls for some hours now -I would very much like their first single on blue vinyl

I’m also pondering if I should by More Light on vinyl, and the Bulbs Of Passion 7" + the Just Like Heaven blue 10"
That site will probably end up making me broke. But atleast I’ll be broke and happy I figure that’s not the worst that could happen.
