I dated this one guy for 3 years, and our first Valentine’s Day together I received a purple vibrator from him. He ordered it online back in November as a joke (not meaning to give it to me on Valentine’s Day), and since it was not in stock at the time, it didn’t arrive until that day. To be honest, it wasn’t even the worst present he ever gave me. The next year he had his co-workers put together a gift basket for me full of crappy Valentine’s presents like conversation hearts, a coupon book, and countless other random pink stuff. At least the vibrator was useful.

This is the reason I have been absent on the boards this week. We got him on Saturday, and I named him Samsquanch. Note: This is not an actual picture of my new puppy. My camera is missing a much-needed cable, so I found a picture online that looks exactly like him. This will have to do for now.

So jealous. Kansas is always bitter cold, or it feels like a blow dryer in your face. I think there are about 15 days total where the weather is agreeable, and that is only if the wind cooperates.

I like that you guys haven’t brought it up either. ha There is nothing worse than when people come to Kansas and actually ask us if Wizard of Oz is real and where can they see Dorothy’s house. That’s almost as bad as the ones that are shocked we drive cars and not horse and buggies. My personal favorite is the cowboys and indians… "Are they, like, really here so I can watch them fight?" If only they were joking.

jkWould you be mad if I said I haven’t seen it yet? I want to, and I know of a place in Wichita that is still showing it. I have heard from a few people that it is definitely worth watching (people that weren’t excited about a sequel to begin with). I do know that the brothers are both in this one. In fact, I have heard that the entire cast comes back for the sequel. From what I can see on imdb, Billy Connolly, Rocco, Willem Dafoe, and the two cops are back. I watched a preview for it, and both Connor and Murphy do not look as steamy as they did in the first, but still doable. If I get a chance to see it, I will let you know if it is worth the time.

I’ve always thought gorillas look their best in polka-dotted bikinis. I must have seen this somewhere, because that is always the first image that pops into my head when I think about gorillas. Weird.
